HEC Declares Private University Sub Campuses Illegal

Higher Education Commission has announced that 21 sub campuses of the private universities in Punjab province are illegal. The HEC Punjab has advised the students and their parents not to take admission in these campuses as the admissions in these campuses are declared illegal and the degrees awarded by these campuses will be considered as illegal. There are eight sub campuses of the University of Central Punjab located at Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Sialkot are declared illegal. 4 sub campuses of National College of Business Administration and Economics Lahore located at Bahawalpur, Gujrat, Rahim Yar Khan and Sialkot are also declared illegal. The sub campuses of Superior College Lahore located at Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Khanpur and Faisalabad, three sub campuses of University of Lahore at Islamabad, Gujrat and Pakpattan, Qarshi University sub campus at Lahore and Hajvery University sub campus at Sheikhupura are also declared illegal.
