HEC Closing HEIs Guidance during COVID-19 Period

Higher Education Commission has issued necessary guidance to all educational institutes regarding closure of the educational institutes throughout Pakistan. Because of the insurgency of 2nd wave of Coronavirus in the country, the government closed down the educational institutes from 26-11-2020 to 24-11-2020 and the educational institutes will continue delivering education through online or hybrid means or by providing the homework to the students. The candidates will follow HEC Closing HEIs Guidance during COVID-19 Period and the winter vacations will be announced from 25-12-2020 to 10-01-2021.

The review meeting will be held during first week of January to review the situation of COVID-19 in the country and the decision of reopening of the educational institutes will be made in the light of recommendation of this review meeting. It is also announced that all exams, which are scheduled to be held during the month of December, will be cancelled but the MDCAT, entrance test and recruitment exams will be given exception and the small exams having less than 30 students can also be managed during COVID-19 period.
