Govt Brings Associate Degree Semester System

Punjab Higher Education Commission has decided to establish enhancement cell in government colleges and they are going to introduce the semester system in the associate degree. The higher officials on PHEC and other authorities consider over this important point of the introduction of semester system for associate degree. The establishment of the quality enhancement cell will help in the monitoring of associate degrees and honors degrees in the colleges and career counseling and scholarship portal have been approved, which will be established with support of Punjab Information Technology. The preparation of associate degree courses will be made possible for separate committee for every single discipline and matter of awarding degrees to students by sub campuses were also discussed. PHEC decided to offer proper training to new teachers in the government universities and they also approved the leadership tainting program for newly appointed VC of the government universities during the conference.
