GCTLAHORE-TEVTA Admissions 2025 B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering Technology
The Government College of Technology Lahore, under the authority of TEVTA, invites applications on prescribed forms from Punjab-domiciled candidates for admission in the B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering Technology 4-year program for the session 2025–2029.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed F.Sc. Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical or equivalent, OR hold a Diploma of Associate Engineering DAE in one of the following technologies:
Mechanical
Mechanical Power
Mechanical Production
Precision Mechanical & Instruments
Auto & Diesel
Bio-Medical
Automation
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Foundry & Pattern Making
Metallurgy & Welding
Mechanical Technology Power Auto Farm & Machinery Technology
TEVTA Admissions are now open B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering Technology 4-year program. Note: Students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
Entrance Test Requirement ECAT 2025
Applicants must have appeared in the ECAT 2025 conducted by University of Engineering & Technology UET, Lahore.
Merit Calculation Criteria
For DAE Applicants:
ECAT 2025 Test Marks: 33% weightage
1st & 2nd Year DAE Marks: 67% weightage
For Intermediate Stream Applicants:
ECAT 2025 Test Marks: 33% weightage
Matric Marks: 17% weightage
1st Year Intermediate Marks: 50% weightage

27th September 2025 up to 3:00 PM
Display of Merit List:
1st October 2025
Interviews of Shortlisted Candidates:
2nd October 2025 at 9:00 AM
Application Requirements
Applicants must attach attested photocopies of all academic certificates with the application. Certificates must be attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen IBCC.
Original documents attested by IBCC must be presented at the time of the interview.
No separate call letters will be issued for interviews.
Absentees will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Reserved Seats
2% quota for children of shuhada, war-disabled, serving/retired Army personnel as per UET Lahore policy.
2 seats reserved for disabled persons as per UET Lahore notification.
