Federal Board Extends SSC-I Registration Update
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE has officially reopened the SSC registration portal for students enrolling in Class 9 for the 2026-2028 academic session. This extension is specifically designed for affiliated educational institutions that were unable to finalize their student registration process during the initial window.
Enrollment Guidelines for Affiliated Schools
It is critical to note that students cannot register independently. All FBISE Class 9 admissions must be processed directly through the students respective affiliated school. To ensure a smooth enrollment process, schools are mandated to conduct a meticulous verification of student credentials, including full names, father’s names, accurate dates of birth, B-Form identification numbers, and precise subject selections. Proper data entry at this stage is essential to avoid complications regarding future matric Exams form submissions and official academic records.
Critical Deadlines and Fee Structure
To facilitate those who missed the primary deadline, the board has authorized registration with a Federal Board SSC-I double registration fee. Schools are advised to strictly adhere to the following timeline:
- Registration Closing Date: July 21, 2026.
- Challan Payment Deadline: August 18, 2026.
Completion of the online registration portal entry is required by the July 21 deadline, while the payment of the fee challan must be concluded by August 18. Federal Board registration is a mandatory prerequisite for all SSC Part-I students; failure to comply may result in significant hurdles regarding board Exams.
