Federal Board Application Process for Reviewing Answer Books
Begin by downloading the online Challan to facilitate your payment process. Click on the "Online Challan" option for this purpose. The candidates note the complete updates of Federal Board Application Process for Reviewing Answer Books.
Carefully and accurately complete the application form online.
Your application form will only proceed for processing once the fee verification is successfully completed. Therefore, its crucial to provide the correct bank Challan number.
Important Points to Remember
Its important to understand that the recounting process does not involve a re-assessment or re-evaluation of the answer books.
In overseeing the recounting process, the chairman of Federal Board or a designated recounting committee must ensure the following:
- No errors are present in the grand total on the title page of the answer book.
- The sums of various parts of each question are accurately calculated at the end of each corresponding question.
- All subtotals are correctly transferred to the title page of the answer book.
- No portion of any response is left unmarked.
- The total marks in the answer book match the marks indicated on the answer sheet.
- The candidates handwriting aligns with the one in the question/answer book.
- No changes or detachments have occurred to the answer book or any of its sections.
In situations where the application of the above criteria results in a reduction of marks, the candidates marks may decrease accordingly. The updated information will be reflected in the revised Marks Sheet.
Recounting Process Timeline and Extension
The recounting process for answer scripts commences within 20 days of the result declaration. This initiation is prompted by sending a formal request to the Controller of Examinations Secrecy.
In cases where additional time is required, an extension of up to 10 days is permissible. However, this extension necessitates approval from the Chairman, for which a request should be submitted.
Tracking Recounting Status and Claiming Ownership
Applicants can conveniently monitor the status of their recounting application on the FBISE website.
Students have the right to verify their own answer script without disputing the examiners evaluation. Any inquiries related to this can be sent to the provided email address.
Issuance of Documents
Following the successful verification of the fee and the submission of a complete application form, the requested documents will be issued within 20 working days.
