FDE Takes Initiatives for Improvement of Islamabad Schools
Federal Directorate of Education has taken the step for the improvement in the academic system of the schools being located in Islamabad capital territory. FDE is going to improve the performance of educational institutes and the steps of audit of educational institutes from 2017-2021 and the distribution of cheques worth Rs.120 million among families of bereaved employees, the introduction of blended e-learning program and implementation of Learn Smart Classroom project in 80 schools. FDE is going to conduct the audit of the schools for the fees charged during last four years and it will cover the hostel fees and graduation fees. He also made the announcement that the details of the salaries of the employees, evening shifts and expenditure on vehicles, will be investigated through audit and the embezzlement in the expenses, which are used in model colleges will also be investigated.
The DG FDE ordered the educational institutes that they will provide the details of the vouchers, cashbooks, vehicle logbooks and stock registers and FDE aims to resolve these issues of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the public educational institutes of Islamabad.
