Coronavirus in Children Various Baluchistan Schools Closed
Due to spreading of the Coronavirus in various cities of Baluchistan like Quetta, Zhob, Chaman, Gwadar and Loralai, the reopened schools are closed once again. It is reported that the COVID-19 cases were reported in these areas and the government decided to close the schools. Sindh government decided to delay the reopening of the schools for 6th to 8th classes, which were scheduled to reopen on 21 Sep. The coronavirus cases were reported in various schools and now the provincial government has decided to review the policy. COVID-19 in Children Various Baluchistan Schools Closed.
The Federal Government is going to follow its decision to reopen the schools from 21 Sep and the schools will not start the 6 to 8 classes because of the detection of coronavirus among 89 students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the schools. Sindh Government announced that they will start their six to eight classes from 28 September 2020 instead of 21 September.
Federal Education Minister said that they are stick to their decision and during the meeting of NCOC on 22 September, they will review the situation of the schools and the government will reopen 6 to 8 classes from 23 September. 13 schools are closed because of not following the SOPs. 8 students of two schools in Quetta and 34 students in Punjab are reported to have the positive coronavirus test.
