Computer Teachers Banned from Supervising Board Exams
Higher Education Department HED has officially prohibited the assignment of board examination duties to computer science teachers in future exams. A directive has been sent to all board controllers instructing them to implement this new policy without exception. As per the official notification, computer teachers will no longer be eligible to serve as superintendents or deputy superintendents during board examinations. The rationale behind this decision lies in the fact that many schools rely solely on their IT teachers for delivering computer education. Their engagement in examination duties often disrupts the regular teaching schedule.
Higher Education Department Withdraws Exam Roles from Computer Teachers
The HED emphasized that the lack of substitute instructors further exacerbates the issue, leading to a significant gap in students’ IT education during exam periods. This decision aims to ensure the uninterrupted teaching of computer science in schools throughout the exam season.
