Cabinet Committee Approved Renaming of CSS to CSP
Cabinet Committee has accepted the proposal for the renaming of Central Superior Services to Central Services of Pakistan. This cabinet committee on the institution reforms said that this name is not appropriate and the committee received the recommendations and proposals, and they accorded the approval of Renaming of CSS to CSP Institution Reforms Approved by Cabinet Committee. The committee has accorded the approval of different proposals like special cadre for foreign posting of doctors and engineers, promotion criteria of officers and task force on the institutional reforms.
The institution reforms cell have approved the proposals for the implementation of plan and they have made the sub committee, which will monitor the monthly progress and they will review the points and take more decisions. There are four career domains to include technical, social, economic and administrative area and according to approved proposals, future posting will be made on the basis of their performance and experience after evaluating reports of the individuals. The criteria of the eligible candidates is considered for the selection of the candidates for the foreign posting so that they can grab career-advancing opportunity. The candidates will be appointed for 3 to 5 years in different ministries after the completion of assessment for foreign posting.
The foreign funded training assistance programs have also been considered to provide the opportunity to the candidates so that they can work on the international level. It is decided that the establishment division secretary will make the decision regarding foreign training programs for civil servants. The government of Pakistan will grant scholarships through higher education commission to give training to civil servants. Federal government will devise the strategy about provision of funds from regular budget along with funded training at the international level.
