Bise Rawalpindi to Enhance Exam Integrity with CCTV Surveillance
To ensure greater transparency and uphold the integrity of the 2025 Matriculation and Intermediate examinations, the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi BISE Rawalpindi will install CCTV cameras in all examination centers. This initiative is aimed at improving monitoring and preventing any malpractice during the exams. Improvements to Paper Marking Process and Security Measures
In addition to CCTV surveillance, the Rawalpindi Board is also focusing on enhancing the process of paper marking for annual, supplementary, and practical examinations. Board Chairman Adnan Khan has directed officials to compile information about existing CCTV installations in government school and college exam halls across the Rawalpindi Division. Where no cameras are in place, they will be installed promptly.
Private Schools No Longer to Serve as Exam Centers
Starting next year, private schools will no longer be designated as examination centers. This decision is part of the broader strategy to ensure better security and monitoring of the examination process.
Ensuring Fairness in Exam Distribution and Monitoring
Under the new system, examination papers will be opened and distributed under the direct surveillance of CCTV cameras, with students present during the process. This measure is intended to guarantee fairness and prevent any unfair practices during the exams.
Coordination with Educational Authorities for Effective Surveillance
To streamline the installation process, the Rawalpindi Board has gathered data from directors of colleges, deputy directors, and district education authorities regarding the placement of CCTV cameras. The Board is committed to implementing strict surveillance measures across all centers to ensure a fair and transparent examination environment.
