University of Engineering and Technology, Rasul has the long history of development and expansion and this institute has started its journey in 1873 as School of Surveying in Oriental College. This institute started providing higher standard of education in various fields of engineering and technology and it imparts education in 3 years diploma in Civil Technology. It was upgraded as Government College of Technology in 1974, when the educational policy 1972 was made and the B.Tech degree classes were also started in Construction and Public Health. The government upgraded this college to University of Engineering and Technology, Rasul and the education is imparted in BSc Civil and Electrical Engineering technology and the BSc Computer Sciences. This university has the objective to produce the quality technical manpower for this area and it can meet the ever increasing demand of the skilled and trained engineers and technologists in different fields.
