About Pakistan Software Export Board Pseb

The Pakistan Software Export Board was established in 1995 for the development of software industry in country for the facilitations of ministries, departments and agencies of government of Pakistan. Initially it was named as Private Software Export Board that was replaced as Pakistan Software Export Board PSEB in 1997 by the Ministry of Communication, Government of Pakistan. PSEB was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee under the Companies Ordinance - 1984, in June 1998.

Promoting Pakistan's IT industry is a core activity of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). IT companies have regularly taken advantage of PSEB's initiatives to attract valuable business exhibitions, set up offices in key foreign locations and sign joint venture agreements with foreign counterparts. World-renowned research authorities such as Gartner, World Bank and McKinsey have consistently endorsed PSEB's international marketing activities and called for increasing the presence of Pakistani IT companies in key international markets. As a result, it will meet IT-based export earnings.
