The University of Agriculture Swat, nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, is extending a unique opportunity through the "Climate Change and Mountain Agriculture Scholarship Scheme." This fully funded scholarship aims to cultivate the next generation of agriculturists, specializing in critical disciplines such as Food Science and Technology, Entomology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Horticulture, and Soil and Environmental Sciences.
Application Process:
Aspiring candidates from eligible districts are invited to apply through the online application form available on the universitys official website. A non-refundable fee of Rs.1000/- should be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Khyber, Account No. 5203003004012339. The deadline for submitting the hardcopy of the application form, along with attested copies of required documents, is December 26, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants need to have a minimum of 45% marks in both SSC and HSSC Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering. Each district has two reserved scholarships, covering tuition fees and offering a monthly stipend, awarded on a merit basis. The merit for admission is determined by the combined percentage of marks obtained in SSC 40% weight and HSSC 60% weight.
