SMA Rizvi Textile Institute Karachi Situated in the heart of Korangi industrial area, Karachi and was established in 1996 and started functioning in 1998. The SMA was established by Towel Manufacturer’s Association (TMA) in collaboration with Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) now Trade Development authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Government of Pakistan. Now under the administrative control of Ministry of Textile Industries, Government of Pakistan.

SMA Rizvi Textile Institute Karachi offers 2-years Specialized Diploma course in Textile Weaving and Wet-Processing Technologies affiliated with SBTE (Sindh Board of Technical Education) in 1998. Started 3-year DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer’s) course in Textile Weaving and Dyeing & Printing Technologies affiliated with SBTE in 2004. Recently started 3-year DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer’s) course in Chemical Technology and Mechanical Technology affiliated with SBTE.

The basic aim of the SMA Rizvi Textile Institute Karachi is to train the students in technical field especially in textile and clothing technology to make them supportive individuals to add more to the economy of the country.
