Admission Announcement for MS/M.Phil/PhD Programs at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar: Spring 2024
Program Offerings at SBBWU:
The university offers a wide array of programs for prospective students, catering to various academic interests and career aspirations. These include MS programs in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Education, Management Sciences, Microbiology, and more. Eligibility Criteria:
For admission to MS/M.Phil programs, candidates must hold a relevant Masters degree or have completed 4 years of education after intermediate with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in the Semester System or a 2nd Division in the Annual System. They must also have passed the Departmental Test/GAT General conducted by NTS with at least 50% marks. For PhD programs, candidates should possess MS/M.Phil 18 years of education with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in the Semester System or a 1st Division in the Annual System. Additionally, they must have passed the Departmental Test/GAT Subject conducted by NTS with at least 60% marks.
Admission Procedure:
Prospective candidates can obtain admission forms from the university website. Upon filling out the form, they are required to deposit Rs. 2000/- at the UBL University Branch Main Campus, Larama Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar. Those employed in government or semi-government institutions must submit a NOC within 30 days of initial selection. The completed application form, along with attested copies of educational certificates/degrees/bank slip, should be submitted directly to the Examinations Section at the Main Campus. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
