Pakistan Industrial Technical Assistance Center was established in 1962 after merging of Industrial Research and Development Center and Industrial Productivity Center. This institute is providing the training to unskilled persons by providing demand driven technical courses so that they can have better income and employment opportunities. PITAC contributed in skill development for SME's and light engineering sector according to the national industrial policy.
