Karachi Tools Dies and Moulds Centre was established in 2005 with the aim to run the information technology based on the common facility centers in order to improve skilled of engineers and designers. KTDMC has the main mission to train the professionals in order to improve the quality of designing, engineering and the manufacturing of the tools, dies and moulds and concentrate on sheet metal dies and aluminum pressure die casting moulds with the help of latest technologies like computer aided design and the manufacturing and the computer aided engineering. This institute has the main aim to enable the local industry to produce the TDM based finished products of international quality and assist local industry to produce high quality tools.

This institute has the vision to become player in international market to provide high quality and up to date services for providing training and manufacturing in Dies and Moulds engineering fields. This institute is going to create the 'Teaching Factory environment' in order to provide the state of the art services in consultancy, design, training and manufacturing in tools, dies and moulds to make for local engineering industry to meet their requirements of the high tech products and the skilled manpower so that they can contribute in the national development.
