The Garrison Boys High School & Intermediate College was established in 1963. First of all the institute was only a high school and was separated by Azam Garrison High School. In the result the girls and boys section were formed. The School has always produced good results which compare favorably with renowned institutions of Lahore.The Garrison Boys High School was later on upgraded to inter college on the demands of society and educational needs of the students of area. Thus it was renamed as Garrison Boys High School & Intermediate College GBHS&IC, Lahore Cantt.

Garrison Boys High School & Intermediate College GBHS&IC, Lahore Cantt is functioning under Lahoer Garrison Education System LGES. . The college is affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education FBISE, Islamabad. Its first batch comprising 68 students of Ist Year (Pre Engg, Pre Med & ICS) was appeared in April 2010. In the academic year 2010/11, our intake in Ist Year was 120 students for Pre Engg, Pre Med & ICS.
