Azad Jammu and Kashmir University (AJKU) was established in 1980 at Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The AJK University is a multi-campus, multi-discipline university. The science group includes the Departments of Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Computer Sciences and Information Technology, and the Institute of Geology. For professional training and for clinical practice students attend the Veterinary Hospital Rawalakot under the supervision of their teachers, veterinary officers and the Assistant Director of the Department of Animal Husbandry AJK. The AJK university results show that there has been tremendous progress in different disciplines of the university. AJKU results are announced regularly for every faculty. Due to the hard working of university administration a large number of area of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is getting education of high standard and research work is also being carried in different faculties of the university.
