The Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases KHID invites applications from eligible candidates for postgraduate training programs, fellowships, diplomas, and certificate courses in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Allied Cardiac Health Sciences. Selected candidates will also be provided house jobs as part of the training programs.
Programs Offered
KHID Admissions Offered Following Postgraduate Training Programs:1. FCPS / Postgraduate Training
FCPS Cardiology
FCPS Cardiac Surgery
Eligibility:
MBBS from a PMDC-recognized medical college/hospital
PMDC/PMIC registration required
Maximum age: 40 years
Completed 1-year house job / residency 6 months medicine + 6 months surgery
FCPS Intermediate Module passed
Seats: 20 50% male, 50% female
Selection: Based on entry test and interview
Application Fee: PKR 5,000 per sector
2. Two-Year Diploma Programs
Diploma in Cardiac Technology
Diploma in Laboratory Technology / Nanotechnology
Diploma in ICU / Echocardiology
Diploma in ECG Technology
Eligibility:
Minimum 500 marks in FSc Pre-Medical
Karachi domicile
Age: Up to 21 years
Selection: Through NTS / Sindh Medical Faculty
3. One-Year Certificate Courses
Operation Theater Technology
Laboratory Techniques
X-Ray & Imaging Technology
Eligibility:
Completion of FSc Pre-Medical
Karachi domicile
