About Usman Institute Of Technology Uit

Usman Institute of Technology is established on the basis of not for profit educational institute and it is located at the intersection of University road. This educational institute offers undergraduate studies in the engineering and computer science and the UIT is affiliated with NED University of Engineering and Technology and this institute complies with conditions, which are prescribed by the university and this institute follows the requirements of the degree programs and these degrees are awarded by NED University.
The administration of the institute offers admission to the students at the graduate and postgraduate levels at the scheduled date and time. The students complete their education during their academic activities and at the end of the academic year, the exams are conducted and the students are awarded with the degree as it is affiliated with the NED University. The institute offers the two scholarships to the students. The foundation of the country organizes the lecturers by the scholars and it has established the library and offered the research scholarships. The foundation got the piece of land on University road in order to develop their educational institute.

The UIT was established in 1995 after having the affiliation with Technical Institute Nova Scotia and the Usman memorial foundation has signed the agreement with Hamdard University to award the degrees to the students. The Higher Education Commission has recognized the undergraduate programs of UIT and Pakistan Engineering Council accredited the engineering programs. The candidates can get the information of the undergraduate in the programs including BE Electrical (Electronics, Telecommunication, Power and Computer System), BS Computer System and BS Software Engineering. The institute has developed their UIT Computer Society, which is the group of the undergraduate students in order to develop the interest of the people in Computing and Information Technologies.
