About Sindh Education Foundation Sef

Sindh Education Foundation, Government of Sindh was set up with the vision to empower the marginalized communities towards social change by creating and facilitating new approaches under the provision of SEF Act 1992. This Act provides powers to foundation in order to support education through large number of instruments and support activities. This foundation has made efforts to enhance the quality education all over Sindh province and for those in the remote and under developed regions of the province. The foundation provides communities with quality education after making partnerships with individual and organizations. SEF has the objectives to take steps for expansion of educational facilities and conceptualize and spearhead projects for setting up of educational institutes in less developed or less privileged areas. It helps to evolve program to raise standard of education and improve in literacy rate. This department works to conduct research or surveys or manage the workshops and conferences to study educational system to know shortcomings and make plans for improvement in education.
