BISE & Board Admissions 2026
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Sakrand has official opened applications for its flagship undergraduate degree programs for the upcoming academic session. Aspiring medical, veterinary, and biological sciences students across Pakistan can now submit their forms online for SBBUVAS Admission 2026 before the official deadline. The university offers admissions at both the Main Campus in Sakrand and the Larkano Campus at Naudero under merit and self-finance seats.
This announcement brings immense relief and opportunity to thousands of pre-medical and science graduates eager to secure a seat in professional veterinary and biological fields. Getting enrolled into a top-tier veterinary university is a critical milestone for future doctors and researchers. With limited seats and growing competition across Sindh and other provinces, understanding the complete process early gives candidates a significant edge.
SBBUVAS Undergraduate Programs Eligibility Criteria and Campus Offerings
The university is accepting applications for various 5-year and 4-year degree tracks across its dual campuses. Candidates applying for the 5-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine DVM program at Sakrand or Larkano must possess at least 50% marks in FSc Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. Similarly, 4-year BS programs in BS Biochemistry and Bachelor of Business Administration BBA require a minimum of 50% marks in intermediate exams.
For specialization tracks like BS Biotechnology, BS Fisheries & Aquaculture, BS Poultry Science, BS Wildlife Management, BS Forestry, and BS Food Science & Technology, candidates with a minimum of 45% marks in FSc Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering are eligible. Candidates from pre-engineering or computer sciences entering biological fields will complete necessary deficiency courses during their initial semesters as mandated by university regulations. Candidates who passed intermediate or A-Level examinations in 2026, 2025, or 2024 are eligible to apply. Applicants holding domiciles from other provinces can apply under reserved self-finance quotas or the all-Pakistan open merit sponsors scheme.
SBBUVAS Admission Schedule Entrance Test and Registration Deadline
The university management has outlined a strict application timeline that candidates must follow to avoid rejection. The official SBBUVAS admission deadline 2026 is Friday, 13th November 2026. All application submissions must be completed online via the university portal prior to midnight on the closing date.
Following the form submission window, the administration will conduct the compulsory SBBUVAS entry test 2026 on Sunday, 29th November 2026. The final merit list will be calculated comprehensively using a aggregate weightage system combining scores from the entrance test, FSc/Intermediate, and Matriculation or equivalent examinations. Candidates seeking updates on SBBUVAS merit list 2026 should regularly monitor the official web portal throughout November and December.
Student Community Impact and Academic Future at SBBUVAS Sakrand
The announcement of undergraduate admissions has generated widespread enthusiasm among pre-medical students in Sindh and across Pakistan. SBBUVAS remains one of the premier specialized veterinary institutions in the region, bridging the gap between higher education and practical animal sciences. Many students view this as a primary alternative to medical college admissions, ensuring high career stability in veterinary research, food security, and livestock management.
As entrance test preparation begins, prospective applicants are advised to gather their academic transcripts and complete their online registrations well ahead of time. Successful candidates will join a dynamic academic community equipped with modern research labs, veterinary teaching hospitals, and extensive field exposure.
