About Saps Aviation College

Shaheen Airport Services is the ground handling agency, which is the project of Shaheen Foundation and this welfare organization was established by Pakistan Air Force. This institute was established with the aim to give training to their officials in February 1999. SAPS Aviation College offers the training to the personnel of this agency regarding passenger services, cargo services and ramp operations. The satellite training centers were established in Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar to increase the number of training and the scope was increased, which is added with Dangerous Goods Regulations, Flight Operations officer course and the refreshing trainings. Shaheen Foundation is trust of PAF and it has been working since 1977 under charitable endowment act 1890 and it has created the Welfare Activities to give the benefit to serving and retired personnel of PAF and this foundation generates funds with the help of the commercial and industrial departments.

SAPS is the largest ground handling company of Pakistan and it started working in 1982 and the head office was established at Jinnah International Airport Karachi. It is the member of IATA Ground Handling council and there are 2000 trained workforce, which can provide the ground handling services up to the international standard and it also provides the services at the remote airports located at Chandana, Rahim Yar Khan, Nawab Shah, Sukkur, Kadanwari, Gawadar and Pasni.
