Eligibility Criteria for Aspiring Scholars
To join this elite academic community, candidates must possess 18 years of education Level 7 in the form of a PharmD/B.Pharm combined with an MS, M.Phil, or M.Pharm degree from an HEC-recognized institution. A minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the semester system or 60% in the annual system is required. Applicants holding an MS/M.Phil/M.Pharm with a CGPA between 2.5 and 2.9 may apply for conditional admission, provided they undertake mandatory JSMU medical additional course 2026 during a zero semester as per JSMU and HEC regulations.
Roadmap to Admission
The JSMU PhD Program 2026 admission is now active. Please note the following critical timeline:
Application Availability: Forms were released on Monday, July 6, 2026.
Submission Deadline: All completed forms must be submitted by Monday, July 27, 2026.
Entrance Testing: Candidates must provide valid scores from an HEC-accredited GRE/HAT/GAT Subject test 60% passing score or participate in the university-administered entry test.
Evaluation: The test pattern will assess expertise in Pharmacy, Biostatistics, Communications, Research Methodology, and Logical Reasoning. Shortlisted applicants will undergo an interview process and must present a research proposal.
