Sindh Govt Announces Matric & Inter New Grading Policy




Sindh government has issued the notification regarding new grading policy at the level of matric and intermediate classes. Now Sindh has become the first province to accord approval of the grading policy. The students, teachers and parents note that Sindh Govt Announces Matric & Inter New Grading Policy. The new grading policy will be implemented from 2025 in the government and private schools and educational boards and under this policy, the students will be granted the grades instead of marks and positions.


Removal of Positions

Under the new grading policy, the students will not be awarded with first, second and third positions. Before this, the educational boards announced the names of the toppers in the board exams and now no students will be awarded with positions and they will get simple grades. Punjab, KPK and Baluchistan could not announce the grade policy right now.
 

IBCC Grading Formula

IBCC has announced the formula for award of grades to the students. According to this formula, the students, who will get 95% or more marks, they will get an Exceptional A grade, the students, who will get 90% marks, they will be awarded with excellent A grade. The students, who will achieve 85% marks or more, they will get Best A grade in the exams result.


The students, who will attain 80% marks, they will receive Very Good B grade, the students with 75% will get Good B grade. the students, who will get 70% marks, they will receive Suitably Good B and the students with over 60% marks, they will get Above Average C grade. The students, who will get 50% marks, they will get Average D grade and the marks ranging between 40 to 49%, they will be awarded with Below Average E grade. The students, who will get below 40% marks, they will obtain Unsatisfactory F grade in the exams result.
