BISE Dera Ghazi Khan was set up in 1989 after bifurcation of Multan Board. It comprises of four Districts of Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah and Rajanpur. In the beginning, the offices of the Chairman and Controller of BISE DG Khan were set up in the area of Govt. Comprehensive School, D.G.Khan and Secretary Office in the private buildings. In 1996, all the branches of the DG Khan Board were shifted in the Hostel Building and residence of Govt. Comprehensive School, D.G.Khan. The foundation stone of the BISEDGKhan campus was laid by Lt.General (Rtd) Khalid Maqbool, Governor of the Punjab on 12-03-2002. Dera Ghazi Khan Board is now busy in providing education facilities to people of four districts. The DG Khan Board results show it quality of education being delivered by the board. DG Khan Board will announce SSC part 1 result 2012 on August 15, 2012. DG Khan board 9th class students can see their detailed result online. This result shows subject wise marks in all subjects.

BISE Dera Ghazi Khan has released matric 10th result 2012 on 25 July 2012. DG Khan board students of 10th class can check their annual exam result SSC 2 online here.
